PIH selects SES World Skies' AMC-6 satellite for Haiti

US-based healthcare organisation Partners In Health (PIH) has selected SES World Skies' AMC-6 satellite to expand and enhance connectivity across Haiti. PIH has increased its investment in medical teams and satellite capacity. This agreement delivers the bandwidth PIH medical teams need to provide patient care at twelve more hospitals and clinics in Port-au-Prince, St. Marc, Hinche and other Haitian towns and villages. SES World Skies' satellite delivers broadband and videoconferencing functionalities to track patients, share treatment regimens and research findings and identify pharmaceutical needs at medical facilities in Haiti.
